Thanks to these panoramic windows, the tourists who travel in the 360​​° Machu Picchu Train will be able to appreciate all the details of the Andes mountain range that surrounds the road to the great Inca citadel in a unique way.

The new train also features an open-air observation carriage at the centre of the train, allowing passengers to step out, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and fully immerse themselves in the spectacular scenery on show. On the other hand, starting in April, there will be a mobile application that our passengers can download for free before their trip allowing them to appreciate all the historical, cultural and natural details of each area throughout the train ride.

Departure points and times

If you are planning your trip in train to Machu Picchu you already know that there are several train options and, like the rest of them, the 360 ​° Machu Picchu Train will have daily departures from the stations of Poroy, once a day, and Ollantaytambo, twice a day, heading to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo, the gateway to our wonder of the world.

As we told you before, it is important to choose the departing station depending on how many days you have to get to the citadel… We recommend to leave from Poroy if you have between one or two days, and from Ollantaytambo if you have three or more days.

We would also like to remind you that between the months of January and April the Poroy station closes due to the rainy season, period in which we offer our Bimodal Service.

How to book a seat in the 360 ​​° Machu Picchu Train

Machu Picchu is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world, so it is important that you book your train seat well in advance.
