Rainbow Mountain

On your way to the lagoon don’t be surprised to see “apachetas” or stones stacked one on top of the other. These are left by the locals as offerings to the Pachamama. The locals of the nearby town of Mollepata have a lot of respect for the lagoon since it is their main source of water for their agricultural activities.
